The Sault Area Hospital Foundation 2025 Gala is coming up, and you’ll definitely want to mark your calendars. The fundraiser, an elegant evening that brings the community together in the spirit of giving and supporting the important work of the hospital, will take place on Saturday, November 15th at GFL Memorial Gardens.
An extra special prize will be up for grabs.
“This year, Savoy’s Jewellers has donated a prize to help generate funds for the Sault Area Hospital Foundation. The winner of the raffle will have the choice of diamond earrings valued at $11,000 or a one-on-one custom jewellery design experience with our goldsmith up to $10,000,” says Nicholas Rosset, President, Savoy’s Jewellers.
It’s a hugely generous gift that is sure to make someone’s holiday season.

Attendees will want to keep an eye out for a massive holiday tree that will be loaded with jewellery boxes. Participants can purchase and select a box from the tree which contains their raffle number. Later in the evening, a number will be drawn to determine the winner of the grand prize.
The hoop earrings were made by designer S. Kashi. They’re made of 14KT white gold and adorned with 1.90 CTW of exquisite quality round brilliant diamonds.
“The custom jewellery experience is the chance to sit with our jewellery designers and goldsmiths to create any piece of jewellery the winner wants. We will supply the gold, diamonds, gemstones… anything including labour, with a total value up to $10,000,” says Nicholas.
This isn’t the first time Savoy’s has extended their generosity in this way. Two years ago the business donated a diamond tennis necklace valued over $10,000 to the last SAHF gala.
“While Savoy’s Jewellers endeavours to help many worthy causes, we feel that our local hospital is of particular importance. It offers a service that impacts every single person in the Sault and area,” says Nicholas.
“All of our family’s interactions with Sault Area Hospital have been exceptional. We know that any funding the SAHF receives is appreciated and used as efficiently as possible to help the wonderful doctors and nurses provide the best care possible here in Sault Ste. Marie.”
Every year, the Sault Area Hospital provides life-saving care to thousands of people in the community. Fundraising events like these support the hospital in turn, allowing them to purchase critical medical equipment.
The celebratory evening, known for being a lot of fun and a great night out, includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, live auction, and dancing. Get your tickets here.
