A report about a suspicious vehicle has led to charges for a 36-year-old woman.
At around 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Sault Ste. Marie Police were sent to a parking lot in the 0-100 block of East Street.
“An investigation revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen from the 400 block of Great Northern Road on Nov. 4, and that the accused had been driving and parking it at a multi-unit residence building since Nov. 5,” police said in a news release.
Police arrested a woman and say a search turned up a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine.
Tuesday Dube has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5,000
- Possession of Schedule I Substance (Methamphetamine)
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 5, 2026.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
