Victor began his journey one day before his 74th birthday. Waiting for him at the Western Door are his parents George and Hannah Wabigwan, his brother Matthew, his sister Colleen and all his aunties, uncles and many cousins.
Beloved friend of Jeannine Aubry. Brother of James, Gloria, Paul, Iris, Victoria and Sandra. Lovingly remembered by many cousins and friends.
Victor was a Thessalon First Nation Band counsellor for many years. He worked at the TFN Water Plant. He enjoyed the casino, playing bingo and travelling to the pow-wows around the area. Victor loved Karaoke, especially singing Elvis’s songs.
The family wishes to thank doctors and nurses at Health Science North, Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital. They especially want to thank Victoria Manitowabi and all her assistants for coordinating the family’s stay in Toronto. Also thank you to Beggs Funeral Home for their care.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Thessalon First Nation Band Community, 40 Sugar Bush Road on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, beginning at 10am until time of ceremony on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11am. Interment to follow at Thessalon First Nation Cemetery. After burial everyone is welcome back to the Community Hall for a feast.
