VIDEO: For students at Algoma University, the violence in Nepal hits close to home

Students in Sault Ste. Marie organized a candlelight vigil Tuesday night to honour the growing number of victims killed during anti-government protests in the capital city of Kathmandu

What began as a peaceful protest in Nepal's capital city spiralled into chaos this week, leaving at least 30 dead and hundreds more injured.

At Algoma University, international students from Nepal organized a candlelight vigil Tuesday night to honour the dead and draw attention to the violence occurring in their home country.
