As part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the EMPLOYMENT network and Community Living Algoma would like to thank the following employers for their continued commitment to building a mutually respectful partnership with them. We’d also like to extend our congratulations, once again, to the City of Sault Ste. Marie and to Crimson Ridge Golf Course & Embers on the Ridge for each being selected as an Employment Partner of the Year Award recipient. These awards were presented to them at the CLA Awards Presentation in June.
This award recognizes an employer who, through awareness, intentional actions and the provision of necessary supports and accommodations, consistently inspires people with disabilities to be successful in the workplace environment. The employer creates and models a climate of inclusion, based on commitment, disability awareness, policies and practices on a daily basis.
