Passed away peacefully at Willowgrove LTC Home in Ancaster, Ontario on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the age of 88.
Predeceased by her husband, J. Ian Stott. Loving mother of Jake (Joanna Lee), Mary Beth (Scott Brown) and Tavis (Linda Wong). Mary will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Kasey Brown (Ben Scott), Cameron Brown (Teaunna Gray), Lucy and Isla. She also leaves behind her two great-grandchildren, Noah Scott and Arthur Brown. Daughter of the late Teresa Coghill (nee McCoy) and the late Eduard Young. Predeceased by her sisters Josephine Gagné (late Ray) and Jean Spooner (Ken). Sister-in-law of the late Paul Stott (Lynne). Aunt Mary will be fondly remembered by Leanne Spooner (Buck), Marney Hunter (Mark), Eduard Gagné (Han) and Mark Gagné.
Mary will forever be remembered for her gentle, kind and considerate nature. Her mischievous, joyful laughter — along with her strength and determination — always carried her family through.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON, P6B 0B6, 705-945-7758) on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
