Lace up and take the ice with the Soo Greyhounds during this year's Bell Celebrity Skate!
This event takes place Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the GFL Memorial Gardens, giving kids the chance to skate on the same ice as the Greyhounds, meet the players and get autographs, and even "shake a paw" with Dash.
Admission is a minimum of $50 in pledges towards Rotary Youth Projects, but participants who fundraise above and beyond can take home top prizes, including a Nintendo Switch 2.
Last year's skate raised a record amount of money.
“Every year, the Bell Celebrity Skate reminds us what can happen when people come together to support a great cause.” Shared Mark Lepore, Co-Chair of the event in a news release issued today. “It’s incredible to see the energy, generosity, and spirit everyone brings to the rink, not to mention how exciting it is to skate with the Greyhounds.”
