Sault police charged a 43-year-old woman on Monday who apparently got violent when officers tried to remove her from a property.

Police said the woman pushed one officer and kicked another.

It started at around 3:10 p.m., when a 911 caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Church Street.

Upon arrival, officers were asked to remove the accused from the property. The accused pushed one officer and kicked another, police said.

While officers arrested her, the accused kicked an officer again and continued trying to pull away. She was arrested.

Patricia Recollet is charged with:

  • Assault Peace Officer x2
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 5, 2026.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
