An application has been made to the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) to change the project and alter the terms and conditions of the existing Renewable Energy Approval as follows:
- The Project is proposing to amend the REA to update the maximum rating of each turbine to 2.5 MW from 2.3 MW to allow for operational flexibility. If approved with this change, this facility will continue to have a total maximum name plate capacity of 25 MW. The project location, taking the proposed change into account, remains the same and is described in the map below.
- Corporate Name Change. The name of the general partner of Chi-Wiikwedong LP is now Chi-Wiikwedong Holdings LP.
Documents for Public Inspection:
Goulais has prepared a Modification Document to form part of the application to be submitted to the MECP. The Modification Document details the changes that are required to the supporting REA documents to reflect the amended approval. A written copy of the draft Modification Document is available here.
