Sault police officers charged a 33-year-old man with robbery and uttering threats on Sunday.
Shortly before 10:00 a.m., a 911 caller reported a robbery at a business in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road.
When officers arrived the accused was in custody of security officers.
"An investigation revealed the accused stole items from the business and, when confronted by security, verbally threatened them and gestured as if to punch them.
He was arrested.
Corey McIntyre is charged with:
- Robbery
- Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 29.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.
