KITCHENER — Police say a 40-year-old woman is facing a murder charge after a 44-year-old woman was found dead in Kitchener, Ont., on Monday.
Waterloo Regional Police say officers were called to a home near Highland Road West and Patricia Avenue on Monday afternoon for a report of a disturbance.
They say upon arrival, officers found the 44-year-old woman dead at the scene.
Police say they arrested a 40-year-old woman from Kitchener and charged her with first-degree murder.
Investigators believe the two women were known to each other.
The accused is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
