JP Chalykoff will be performing at The Loft tonight.
The event is to launch his new album Oshki-Miikaans (A New Path), a short album of original songs in Anishinaabemowin / Ojibwe language.
“The show will include live performances of all the songs, including some stories about a number of the songs and their inspirations,” said Algoma Conservatory of Music in a news release.
“There will also be a special appearance by Baabii, the blue Ojibwe-speaking puppet.”
Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
Doors open at 6:30 with the performance at 7 p.m.
