From November 17 – 23, pass along kindness and smiles with Holiday Smile Cookies at Tim Hortons locations across Sault Ste. Marie.
This year, local Tim Hortons owners have chosen to give a portion of Holiday Smile Cookie funds to help enhance paediatric care spaces at Sault Area Hospital through the Smilezone Foundation.
To celebrate, the community is invited to join Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) and the Soo Greyhounds for a fun afternoon of cookie decorating on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Tim Hortons on 389 Great Northern Road.
“We are pleased to partner with Smilezone Foundation and our local Tim Hortons owners to help brighten paediatric care spaces at Sault Area Hospital,” said Teresa Martone, Executive Director for Sault Area Hospital Foundation. “While our primary mission is to fund essential medical equipment, initiatives like this make a meaningful difference for our smallest patients and their families. We’re grateful to everyone supporting the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign.”
Bringing smiles takes community support, and volunteers are still needed! Volunteer opportunities are available for anyone interested in decorating Smile Cookies at Tim Hortons locations across Sault Ste. Marie.
Every cookie decorated helps make care areas, bright, comforting, and engaging for children and their families. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are available, and friends, colleagues, students, families, and workplace teams are encouraged to volunteer together. No decorating experience is needed, and all supplies are provided.
