Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family at the age of 61. Predeceased by her parents John “Jack” Anderson and Violet “Barbara” Allen and her adopted parents William and June Soby. Survived by her daughter Marcie Deschamps and her grandchildren Trey Aikens and Raistlin Aikens. Best friend, companion and soul mate to Blair Kelly who loved her unconditionally. Sister to Ruth Pedersen, Sally Saulnier, Kathleen Merrigan, Randy Anderson, Mark Anderson, John Anderson, Mitchell Anderson and predeceased by Ron Anderson. Adopted sister to Jody Downer, Rhonda Anderson, Laural Soby, William Soby, Jim Soby, David Soby, Randy Soby and Chris Soby. Loved and missed by many nieces and nephews and her close friend Jennifer King Mikulik.
Born in Orangeville Ontario, she soon ended up in Sault Ste Marie Ontario. She was hard working in the restaurant and bar industry as both a waitress and a bartender for many years. During this time, she fell in love with the game of pool and went on to win many tournaments and was proud of her accomplishments. She was an amazing cook and there was no such thing as eating out of a box! She eventually returned down south to be closer to her family whom she loved her so dearly.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Arrangements entrusted to McMillan & Jack Funeral Home, Dundalk Ontario.
