John was born on June 15, 1950, in Aiello, Calabria, Italy, and immigrated to Canada with his family as a young boy. His journey marked the beginning of a life built on hard work, devotion, and quiet strength. John was a humble and gracious man, loved by all who knew him. He devoted his life to his family and friends, always placing the needs of others before his own. He had an extraordinary gift for fixing and improving anything he touched. Whether it was a car, a household project, or a broken tool, if John repaired it, it came back better than when it started. His meticulous craftsmanship and unwavering pride in his work meant that everything he built was made to last.

He took great pride in his garage. It was filled with cars, projects, and the countless creations that reflected both his skill and his generous spirit. John found joy in helping family and friends with home repairs and vehicle work, freely offering his time, energy, and expertise.

John enjoyed traveling to many destinations with Gail, where they created memories filled with laughter, companionship, and adventure. Together they also enjoyed many social gatherings with friends.

His grandchildren, Victoria, Noah, and Hannah, were his greatest source of joy. John cherished spending time with them and watching them grow up. He was always there proudly cheering them on.

John’s life was a testament to generosity, integrity, and devotion. He touched countless hearts with his humility, his gentle nature, and his willingness to help anyone in need. Those who were blessed to know him will remember him not only for the things he built, but for the love, support, and quiet strength he offered so freely.

He was a wonderful man, kind, capable, giving, and deeply loved. His legacy will live on in the family he cherished and in the many lives he quietly made better.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Parent and the very kind caregivers at the Davey Home (Birch Lane 3). Dad also received very loving care from Deepika, who always brought a smile to his face.
