The Algoma Conservatory Concerts series will present three of Canada’s leading classical musicians in performance later this month.

Clarinetist James Campbell, soprano Leslie Fagan and pianist Angela Park will share the stage as the Campbell/Fagan/Park Trio on Saturday, Nov. 22, at The Loft, located at the Algoma Conservatory of Music, 75 Huron St.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Campbell, a Juno Award winner and Order of Canada recipient, has been described by critics as one of the world’s top clarinetists. He has performed in more than 35 countries with leading orchestras, including the Boston Pops and London Symphony, and was artistic director of Parry Sound’s Festival of the Sound for nearly four decades.

Fagan, an internationally acclaimed soprano and recent Order of Ontario appointee, has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and with orchestras across North America and Europe. A co-founder of the Canadian Art Song Project, she also teaches voice at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Park, a pianist praised for her “stunningly beautiful pianism,” has appeared across Canada and abroad as a soloist and chamber musician.

A founding member of the Juno Award-winning Ensemble Made In Canada, she is currently an assistant professor of piano and collaborative piano at Western University.
