Tom was the best business partner (37 years) and friend my husband Jim Landry could have ever had. He was best man in our wedding and we will miss him dearly. He was a very good father to Sheldon taking him on the rounds. Our condolences to Sheldon, Peter, Mary and family, Linda, Pat and Leona.

You wonder if there still is corruption as not too many people are winning and within the last couple of years someone went around to all the stores looking for specific scratch tickets as apparently there was a winning one in town so they were only purchasing that specific type of ticket so how would they know there was a winning ticket unless an employee of the lottery told them - pretty suspicious.

If you people are really so concerned about the environment you would have known that the PC's are the only political party that met all 10 criteria for the WWF which is all about the environment. FYI the Liberal government does not make money they reallocate money by taking it from hard working Canadians and giving it to lazy Canadians.

The Liberals are totally destroying our country time for someone else to get it back on track. Has anyone noticed the prices of everything has almost doubled since the Liberals have been in all they do is hand out money they don't have and then expect us to pay for it by grabbing more tax. The carbon tax is a joke they won't do anything for the environment they just want to play Santa Claus with our money. The Ontario PC's appear to be getting rid of all the overspending that's why all the cuts - our medical system has been dying for years has nothing to do with the pc's

I hope that this will be thoroughly studied as I can see people just pushing this through as they only see the dollar side of things. Algoma Steel should also have their pollution checked out as I have lived in the west end for over 30 years and the last few years they have been dumping pollution in the air big time a few weeks ago around the Korah Rd area you could smell it and see the smog in the air very low which I had never seen before - usually they dump in the air on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings. We don't need more of this pollution in our town glad to see the doctors are watching out.

The turning lane at Goulais Ave is a waste of money as the curve was not made wide enough for large vehicles to turn, maybe if you removed the bike lanes as very few people use them (the few bikes ride the sidewalk instead as I live in the area and watch them) and shift the traffic over the way it was years ago two lanes right to the intersection. Why does the city take the most congested streets and reduce the lanes of traffic in half makes no sense at all.
