Job Duties Include:
• Installing and servicing Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Garage doors.
• Installing, servicing, and programming garage door openers and accessories.
• Measuring, cutting, and fabricating materials for installations.
• Installing framing/blocking in openings as required.
• Loading work vehicles with tools and materials for each project.
• Driving to and from each project in a safe and professional manner.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work site every day.
• Employees will occasionally work out of town (Wawa, Chapleau, Elliot Lake and Algoma regions) and after hours as required. Accommodations and meal allowance are provided for overnight stays.
Requirements:
• Candidate must have a valid class G license with a clean driving record.
• Candidates must have their own transportation to and from work.
• Candidates with certification such as WHMIS, Working at Heights, Ariel Lift, Forklift and First Aid/CPR is considered a significant asset.
• Candidates must be mechanically inclined.
• Candidates must be punctual and presentable and have an excellent work ethic, must be willing to work independently or as part of a team.
• Welding experience is considered an asset.
• Candidates with their own tools are considered an asset.
• Experience installing Garaga Overhead Doors and Liftmaster products is considered an asset.
• Experience installing capping, caulking, and trim is considered an asset.
