We are currently looking for an Accounting Administrator to join our team.
Based in Bruce Mines, the Accounting Administrator will report to the Finance Manager and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on invoicing, accounts payable & receivable, and financial reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
The Accounting Administrator will:
• Provide general accounting support and data entry
• Perform invoicing duties including:
o Processing invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing requests
o Verification that billing information on all invoices is complete and accurate
o Assist with preparing month-end billing reports
• Perform Accounts Receivable duties including:
o Processing customer payments including deposits
o Maintaining accurate AR records
o Follow-up with customers to resolve issues and ensure payment
o Assist with preparing and issuing monthly statements to customers
o Assist with preparing month-end AR reports
• Perform Accounts Payable duties including:
o Vendor set up and maintenance
o Verifying accuracy of invoices received
o Posting and allocating expenses to proper accounts
o Reviewing and reconciling vendor statements
o Assist with preparing month-end AP reports
• Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis as required
• Provide confidential, courteous, and professional service
• Complete other administrative duties related to the filing, maintenance, and retention of accounting records as assigned

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or university degree in Accounting or a related program. Additionally, you should have:
• Experience working in an accounting role
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
• High motivation with results-oriented focus
• Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to navigate confidential matters and manage sensitive data
• Valid Class G driver’s licence
